Fiona Wright has conducted intensive fieldwork research in Israel/Palestine, and is currently working on a book on the ethics and politics of Jewish Israeli left-wing activism. Her research interests include the anthropology of social movements, humanitarianism, and kinship, and psychoanalytic, feminist and phenomenological theory. She is currently a Visiting Research Fellow at the Council for British Research in the Levant, East Jerusalem.
